Dr. Chiara Herzog (personal website: chiaraherzog.github.io) is a Group Leader and Assistant Research Professor at the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute, University of Cambridge. Chiara previously held positions at King’s College London (Department of Twin Research and Genetic Epidemiology), the University of Innsbruck (European Translational Oncology Preventiotn & Screening Institute, Institute for Biomedical Ageing Research), University College London (Institute for Women’s and Children’s Health), and University of Edinburgh (Centre for Discovery Brain Sciences). With over 10 years of experience in interdisciplinary research, she has pioneered novel insights into how our epigenome records past exposures, present cellular state, and future disease risk.
Chiara has previously received funding through the prestigious King’s Prize Fellowship and is currently supported by a Wellcome Trust Career Development Award.
